The Ardèche volcanoes

Today’s journey of discovery will lead you to ride in the direction of the Natural Regional Park of the Ardèche Mounts and the splendid Mont-Gerbier-de-Jonc. The roads of the ‘Gorges des Gas’ and the ‘Col de Cabre’ will give you a handful of scenic views and good fast sweepers, before reaching the waterfalls of the ‘Saut de la Drôme’ at Luc-en-Diois.

The Mont-Ventoux, a symbolic feature of Provence

Authentic and charming little villages abound in this part of the region, such as Nyons with its olive groves and lavender farms or Grignan and its sumptuous castle. Once you arrive at the Col d’Ey, you will discover the windswept summit of the ‘Giant of Provence’. Culminating at 1912m, the Mont-Ventoux will sweep you away to dreamy lunar landscapes. The Ardèche Gorge, a beautiful 'natural reserve'
